Ages 8-18. The Tune-In Music Program has been an integral part of the West End Cultural Centre for almost as long as the WECC has been around. We offer FREE music instruction on the guitar, bass, drums, voice, and songwriting for youth.
Ages 0-2. The Fort Garry Community Centre is proud to bring back Bach, Bach, Goose! This is a 10-week group music class for children ages 0-2 years-old in partnership with Music Equals.
Ages 3-5. The Fort Garry Community Centre is proud to bring back Musical Foundations! This is a 10-week group music class for children ages 3-5 years in partnership with Music Equals.
Ages 2-3. We’ll explore various themes each week through singing, movement, instrument exploration, and books. This hands-on group is a fun and engaging place to introduce your child to early musical concepts, build social connections, and foster a love for music!
Ages 4-5. This un-parented group will use a variety of instruments, movement songs, and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching, keeping a steady beat, and changing tempos.

Ages 4-5. This un-parented group will use a variety of instruments, movement songs, and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. Ages 18+. Intro to Ensemble Singing will prioritize learning to breathe, sing, and tell stories as a group. We’ll begin by focusing on unison singing and move towards introducing harmony.
Ages 7-9. Intro to Piano is a four week introductory group class focusing on some piano FUNdamentals in a supportive group environment. They will get to spend time playing with others, getting introduced to note reading, and making music in a small group.
Ages 7-9. Introduction to Voice invites kids to explore their voices as a group with games, exercises and singing together. In this four-week introduction to vocal study, your child will come away with an understanding that singing is like any other instrument, gain valuable vocal technique, and set them up for successful individual instruction.
Our office will be closed for spring break from March 29-April 5, 2026. We will re-open on Monday, April 6, 2026.
There will be no lessons or classes on Monday, April 6 in observance of Easter Monday.
Ages 18+. Learn the basics of musical theatre (acting, singing and choreography) in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment. No experience required. Classes will include fun warm-ups, drama games, acting and movement, and basic dance moves.
