Intro to Vocal Technique for Blues and Jazz Singers-2 pm (fall)

Upon request from the recent Blues Singing for Adults class, we are pleased to introduce a class that focuses strictly on vocal technique for Jazz, Blues and similar styles of singing. Led by MCMA Vocal Workshop Instructor Adèle M. Wilding, singers will be introduced to basic skills to facilitate effective singing: posture, breathing and support, and vocal placement, among other skills. Weeks one to four will explore basic technique. Weeks five and six will feature song sharing activities.

Accessibility: The chapel (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building, you’ll find a gender neutral, accessible washroom available to you.
