Facilities

Our high achievement rate is the result of a professional faculty that engages students in a facility designed to build musical focus and community.

As part of our musical community, students are encouraged to drop by to practice or jam in any open room (just call ahead, as the rooms may all be in use).

The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts is located at the University of Winnipeg in Bryce Hall (515 Portage Avenue). It has bus stops nearby, including a rapid transit stop across the street, and lots of public parking available.

NOTE: Bryce Hall is the building where the chapel is located–directly east of Wesley Hall (the “castle” building). The entrance to Bryce Hall is off the walkway between Wesley and Bryce Hall.

Accessibility

The ensemble room (where we hold most of our group classes) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. To be let into Bryce Hall once you’ve reached the top of the ramp, please call our office at 204-988-7650. Once you enter the building, you’ll find a gender neutral, accessible washroom available to you. This is next to the entrance to our ensemble room. We also have an accessible practice room with a piano available to you on the main floor.
