Music Equals community programs are designed for all ages and skill levels. We offer a wide variety of classes where our participants can learn to play different instruments, learn more about various musical genres, and expand their skillset through the medium of music. Our goal is to increase accessibility to music opportunities for those who face barriers to participating in music education.
For more information on these classes and how to register, please email our Director of Programming & Fund Development, Domanie Billingurst-Schadek, at programdirector@mcma.ca.

FREE Music Equals Baby Beats (online)
Online via Zoom , CanadaAges 0-3. Music Equals Baby Beats is a FREE, virtual parented early childhood music program for babies 0-3 focusing on musical foundations and helping parents understand how their babies learn. Little ones gain fine and gross motor skills, mirror their parents, discover tempo and rhythm by dancing and playing with scarves or body percussion, match pitch and find joy in musical storytelling-all from the comfort of their own home. This full funded program prioritizes flexibility and works as a drop in program, so families can participate as frequently as they are able.
