Baby Beats Scout Coffee location-9 am (summer)
Ages 0-3. Baby Beats is a parented early childhood music program for babies 0-3 that focuses on musical foundations and social skill development. Babies gain fine and gross motor skills, learn how to wait their turn, discover tempo and rhythm by dancing and playing with scarves or body percussion, match pitch and find joy in musical storytelling.

Intro to Musical Theatre-10 am (summer)
Children’s classesAges 3-5. Do you have a preschooler who loves to sing, dance, play dress up, and tell stories with music? Are you curious to see if they are the next musical theatre star? Are you unsure whether or not they are ready to start taking music lessons? Children as young as age four are often ready for private instruction! Explore four weeks of musical theatre in a small group to help determine whether your child is ready for the next step in their musical journeys with activities designed especially for busy minds and bodies who love music!

Are you unsure whether or not they are ready to start taking music lessons? Children as young as age four are often ready for private instruction! Explore four weeks of musical theatre in a small group to help determine whether your child is ready for the next step in their musical journeys with activities designed especially for busy minds and bodies who love music!

We’re moving past the clinical labels to celebrate the brilliance of artists who lived—and played—outside the lines.

Does your child show interest in piano and is looking to explore that before committing to private lessons? Intro to Piano is a four week introductory group class focusing on some piano FUNdamentals in a supportive group environment. Geared for children aged 7-9, they will get to spend time playing with others, getting introduced to note reading, and making music in a small group. This class is intended to explore musical and instrumental options in a little more depth to support later individual study.

This class is intended to explore musical and instrumental options in a little more depth to support later individual study.

Intro to Violin-3:30 pm (fall)
Ensemble room Bryce Hall, 515 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaChildren’s classesAges 7-9. Is your child curious about becoming a strings player? Local violinist Clair Tang will use creative ways to introduce the violin to little hands! This four week introduction program will cover the basics of posture, bow holds, tone production, notation and getting those fingers down on the string for their first notes. The goal is to discover aptitude, interest, fun music making and community. Tuition includes the cost of a monthly instrument rental.
