12+/Grade 5 RCM. Intended for intermediate-advanced players looking for ensemble experience. This four week introduction invites intergenerational string and piano players to learn to collaborate and work together as a musical team with the goal of performing at an MCMA recital.

Ages 10+. This group class will prioritize learning to breathe, sing, and tell stories as a group. The class will begin by focusing on unison singing and move towards introducing harmony based on level and interest of participants. This is a multilevel, intergenerational class that invites anyone wanting to explore the skills needed to be a part of a choir or vocal group.
Ages 2-3. This hands-on group is a fun and engaging place to introduce your children to early musical concepts, build social connections, and foster a love for music.

Ages 16+. Songs to be covered include field songs, work songs and popular and lesser known vocal gems from the West Indies. You will learn these songs through the aural-oral method of song acquisition, based on West African musical practices. Techniques such as call and response and use of body percussion will be covered.
