The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts is Manitoba’s premier house for advanced voice instruction. Our downtown Winnipeg music school offers private voice lessons for children and teenagers to adults, from beginner voice students to those seeking advanced voice instruction. Our highly-qualified faculty members teach a wide range of musical styles for voice. Every one of our voice instructors is highly qualified to teach voice. A majority hold Bachelor degrees, many possess Masters degrees and some have earned Doctorate degrees. Our voice instructors consider themselves musician/teachers — professional musicians who teach. Our voice teachers offer customized learning plans tailored to each student’s goals and skill level, to help them progress faster and further. Meet with one of our voice instructors before registering to find the right student/voice instructor combination and ensure the best learning experience possible.
Our student/voice instructor matching service
The student/voice instructor combination has an impact on a student’s learning, achieving and enjoyment of their singing experience, so it’s important to make the best match possible. That’s why our process includes an assessment of the students’ needs to match them with a faculty member for a free consultation.
If you have a specific voice teacher in mind, please call our office at 204-988-7650 to find out more about available music lesson slots in their schedule.
Fees
Voice instructor rates vary depending on the academic credentials and teaching experience of each instructor. 30 minute voice lessons range from $25–$35 per lesson, 45 minute voice lessons from $37.50–$52.50 per lesson and 60 minute voice lessons from $50–$70 per lesson. All voice lessons are weekly, unless otherwise specified.
We offer flexible lesson times. Beginner students seeking private voice lessons generally start with a half hour lesson once a week. Once a student’s skill level has moved up to an intermediate level, voice lesson times usually increase to 45 minutes once a week. Students with a high level of commitment who have progressed to advanced repertoire increase their voice lesson time to one hour per week.
