Welcome to the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts, Jeffrey Acosta!

Join us in welcoming the newest addition to our faculty, Jeffrey Acosta, trombone instructor! Jeffrey is a music educator, performer, and arts leader. With over a decade of teaching and performance experience, he has worked and mentored students from beginner through advanced levels, helping them develop both technical skill and a lifelong love of music. A graduate of Brandon University with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance, Jeffrey’s versatility spans across many genres of music. He has had the privilege to support and share the stage with many local groups and artists such as the Dirty Catfish Brass Band, The Solutions, Retro Rhythm Review, Big City All Stars, and Begonia.

Jeffrey’s teaching emphasizes strong fundamentals and expressive performance. He brings an encouraging, student-centered approach that adapts to each learner’s goals and learning style, whether they are preparing for school band, festival performance, or personal enrichment.
