Try something new this Black history month with PJ Anderson! Explore the artistic and musical contributions of peoples of African descent through paint and sound. Join us on a visual and aural journey through the last 200 years of the contributions of Black artists. Let the musical styles and visual expressions inspire your own artistic exploration as we pay tribute to those before us. From Francis ”Frank” B Johnson to Jimi Hendrix, from May Howard Jackson to Kenhinde Whiley, we will include the sound and styles of the era through a series of painted expressions. No previous experience necessary.

*Please note that the program cost includes art supplies.
