Todd Martin

Todd Martin is a freelance musician with many interests and talents. A graduate of McGill University with a BMus, and a Licentiate Diploma with High Distinction in French Horn performance, Todd has also attended the Banff Centre for the Arts, and The University of Miami.

An accomplished singer and harmonica player, Todd has been fronting the Winnipeg based group Dirty Catfish Brass Band for the past 11 years, as well as performing regularly with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, and The Ron Paley Big Band.

Adding to his list of accomplishments, he has performed on 2 Juno Award winning albums, most recently for The Bros Landreth album Let It Lie, which features both his horn and harmonica playing.

As a French Hornist, Todd has performed with some of the finest orchestras in Canada, including The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, LOrchestre Symphonique de Montreal, The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, The Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra London.

Todd is highly committed to music education. He is the harmonica instructor at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts, and is an avid clinician and teacher on the French Horn. He has also been a guest clinician for the Resonate Live clinics in Saskatchewan for the past 3 years.
