The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts is Manitoba’s premier house for advanced piano instruction. Our downtown Winnipeg music school offers private piano lessons for children and teenagers to adults, from beginner piano students to those seeking advanced piano instruction. Our highly-qualified faculty members teach a wide range of musical styles for piano. Every one of our piano instructors is highly qualified to teach piano. A majority hold Bachelor degrees, many possess Masters degrees and some have earned Doctorate degrees. Our piano instructors consider themselves musician/teachers — professional musicians who teach. Our piano teachers offer customized learning plans tailored to each student’s goals and skill level, to help them progress faster and further. The student/piano instructor combination has an impact on a student’s learning, achieving and enjoyment of their piano playing experience, so it’s important to make the best match possible. Fees

Piano instructor rates vary depending on the academic credentials and teaching experience of each instructor. 30 minute piano lessons range from $25–$35 per lesson, 45 minute piano lessons from $37.50–$52.50 per lesson and 60 minute piano lessons from $50–$70 per lesson. All piano lessons are weekly, unless otherwise specified.

We offer flexible lesson times. Beginner students seeking private piano lessons generally start with a half hour lesson once a week. Once a student’s skill level has moved up to an intermediate level, piano lesson times usually increase to 45 minutes once a week. Students with a high level of commitment who have progressed to advanced repertoire increase their piano lesson time to one hour per week.
