Geared for children aged 7-9, they will get to spend time playing with others, getting introduced to note reading, and making music in a small group. Ages 7-9. Is your child curious about becoming a strings player? Local violinist Clair Tang will use creative ways to introduce the violin to little hands! This four week introduction program will cover the basics of posture, bow holds, tone production, notation and getting those fingers down on the string for their first notes. The goal is to discover aptitude, interest, fun music making and community. Tuition includes the cost of a monthly instrument rental.
