FREE Tune-In Music Program (at the West End Cultural Centre)
Ages 8-18. The Tune-In Music Program has been an integral part of the West End Cultural Centre for almost as long as the WECC has been around. We offer FREE music instruction on the guitar, bass, drums, voice, and songwriting for youth.
Baby Beats (FREE online version)
Ages 0-3. Baby Beats gives parents with babies and toddlers a chance to participate in music sharing time together from the comfort of their own homes. Instructor McKenna Hodges uses nursery rhymes, books, music recordings, dance, movement, and body percussion to introduce basic musical foundations to our littlest participants.

Ages 0-2. The Fort Garry Community Centre is proud to bring back Bach, Bach, Goose! This is a 10-week group music class for children ages 0-2 years-old in partnership with Music Equals.

Musical Storytime-9:30
Ages 2-3. We’ll explore various themes each week through singing, movement, instrument exploration, and books. This hands-on group is a fun and engaging place to introduce your child to early musical concepts, build social connections, and foster a love for music!
Adventures in Music-10:30
Ages 4-5. This un-parented group will use a variety of instruments, movement songs, and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching, keeping a steady beat, and changing tempos.
Musical Storytime-11:30

Adventures in Music-12:30
Ages 4-5. This un-parented group will use a variety of instruments, movement songs, and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching, keeping a steady beat, and changing tempos.
Ensemble Singing for Adults-3:30 pm
Ages 18+. Intro to Ensemble Singing will prioritize learning to breathe, sing, and tell stories as a group. We’ll begin by focusing on unison singing and move towards introducing harmony.
Blues Singing for Adults-2 pm
Ages 18+. Do you love the blues? Are you an adult singer who wants to expand your repertoire? Building on concepts from the introductory session while remaining inclusive to anyone wishing to learn about Blues, this four-week vocal class will continue to explore blues singing from its earliest form to contemporary examples. Singers will learn to recognize the 12-Bar Blues, as well as learn standards in the 12-Bar Blues tradition.
Intro to Gospel Singing for Adults-3 pm
Ages 18+. This four-week class will explore gospel singing from its earliest form, gospel songs from the Civil Rights Movement, and modern popular songs influenced by the gospel style of singing. The course will cover stylistic elements of gospel singing, including harmonizing and free style singing.
Intro to Ukulele
Ages 7-9. This 4 weeks program will give your child a chance to explore the basics of ukulele and its transferable skills for guitar in a 4 week group setting. This class is an excellent way to pique musical interest and ensure music making is fun! Instruments are provided!
Intro to Ukulele for Adults
Ages 18+. This 4 week introduction to chords, strumming, and singing to your favourite classics is an great way to pursue that dream of playing an instrument as an adult. This class is all about fun, camaraderie, and shared experiences in a space reserved for adults! Instruments are provided.
