Our Adventures in Music un-parented children’s group music class for 4-5 year-olds uses a variety of instruments, movement songs and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching, keeping a steady beat, and changing tempos. It will also be an introduction to collaborating and engaging in a class environment and developing independence.
At the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts, 4-5 year-olds who show an interest in music should start with our Adventures in Music group class. Next, they will progress into our Intro to Instruments program for 4-7 year-olds. These group music classes will introduce your child to a different instrumental discipline each week, letting them decide what they like best as they transition into private instruction. Another option for children who are ready for private lessons, but haven’t chosen an instrument yet is our Musical Foundations program for 4-6 year-olds. With these 30 minute introductory music lessons, your child will gain exposure to singing, piano, recorder, ukulele, and percussion instruments while developing skills in an individual setting. Once your child has chosen an instrument, and is ready for private music lessons, you can request a free consultation to get started.

If the purple “Get Tickets” button is not visible, that means the class is either full, or the class has already started. Next, click on the plus sign on the ticket to select the desired amount of tickets. Then click on the purple “Get Tickets” button. Fill in the registration information for each student, then click on the purple “Checkout Now” button.
If the class is full, click on the purple “notify me” button to get notified if a spot becomes available.
