We have a new voice instructor here at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts! Jasmine Henry is a Winnipeg-based singer, songwriter, and performer who brings years of professional experience and a genuine love of singing to her teaching. She performs regularly as a solo artist and with groups including The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, The Astronomics, Midnight Social Club, and The Super Troupers, and has also toured internationally with Amos the Kid. With over seven years of experience providing private vocal instruction, Jasmine is passionate about helping students develop strong vocal technique while discovering and embracing their own voice.
Jasmine believes that voice lessons should be fun, collaborative, and goal-oriented. The most important thing for her is that students feel passionate about singing and leave their lessons feeling positive.
From helping students build confidence, strengthening vocal technique, or preparing for a performance, she works with each student to create an approach that feels personal and motivating. Jasmine’s teaching strengths include performance and vocal technique, with a focus on fostering a love of singing and helping students feel confident expressing themselves creatively!
