Please join us in welcoming the newest member of our faculty, Megan Guevarra! Megan is a musician and music educator singing actively in the Winnipeg arts scene. Whether teaching or performing, she demonstrates professional musicianship supported by many years of experience. Megan graduated from Canadian Mennonite University with a Bachelor in Music concentrating in Music Education, Senior Years Choral, and has gone on to teach voice lessons, music direct and choir direct. Bringing music to individual or group settings, Megan has curated lessons to ages ranging from infants and toddlers, early, middle and senior years students, and beyond. Her performance training focuses on vocal jazz and musical theatre repertoire. Megan wants to help you find a love for music! Megan’s approach is to hone in on technique, score study and performance-this is where the magic truly happens!
Megan will be teaching voice lessons as well as teaching in our Musical Foundations program. Our Musical Foundations program is designed for 4-6 year-old children who are ready for private lessons, but haven’t chosen an instrument yet. Your child will gain exposure to singing and percussion instruments while developing skills in an individual setting with these 30 minute lessons.
