“It was a good tasting menu for getting into music.”
4-7 year-olds: Is your child ready to start private lessons? Have they participated in early childhood programs and are curious about what comes next? Our Intro to Instruments group music class for 4-7 year-olds will introduce children to a different instrumental discipline each week, letting them decide what they like best as they transition into private instruction. Will it be violin? Piano? Ukulele? Harmonica? Try them all!
6-9 year-olds: Does your child show interest in a particular instrument such as piano? Are you seeking an opportunity for them to explore that before committing to private lessons? In our Intro to Instruments four week introductory group class for 6-9 year-olds, we focus on a single instrument in a supportive group environment. Kids will spend time playing with others, getting introduced to note reading, and making music in a small group. These classes explore musical and instrumental options in more depth to support later individual study.
