Intro to Blues Singing for Adults EXTENSION

Do you love the blues? Are you an adult singer who wants to expand your repertoire? This three-week vocal class extension will explore blues singing from its earliest form to contemporary examples. Singers will learn to recognize the 12-Bar Blues, as well as learn standards in the 12-Bar Blues tradition. Singers who also play guitar or ukulele are welcome to bring their instruments along.

Accessibility: Our ensemble room (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building, you’ll find a gender neutral, accessible washroom available to you. This is next to a push plate activated door leading to our ensemble room. There is a Handi-Transit stop across the street from Bryce Hall. An accessibility map can be viewed here.
