Music for special occasions

Are you looking for music for your wedding or special event? Hire us! When planning your wedding or an event such as a holiday party, adding live music can help create the perfect ambience. The teaching faculty at the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts are professional-level musicians with a large catalogue of repertoire to fit the needs of your event—from classical to jazz, contemporary popular music to fiddle, our faculty can cover any genre.

Prices rounded to the quarter hour.

Client will be responsible for procuring and coordinating any audio equipment needed for the space, as well as seating and appropriate lighting (if needed).

Need help selecting music? Have a specific music request? Free client consultations are available upon request.

The client will take on financial responsibility for any expenses incurred if purchasing new music is required as requested by the client.

All bookings are required to submit a 50% deposit at time of booking. Full balance will be due two weeks prior to event date. Mileage will be incurred outside of a 20 km radius from 515 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, with rates based on the current rate for mileage in Canada.

Prices advertised are subject to change due to unique requests and/or added rehearsals or meetings with client.

Wedding ceremony

Wedding ceremony incurs base fee charge as indicated above. Includes:

Gathering music (15 minutes of music prior to ceremony)
Processional
Signing of the register
Recessional

Additional musical responsibilities within the ceremony other than the outlined items will add an additional 30-min charge.
