Baby Beats gives parents with babies and toddlers a chance to participate in music sharing time together from the comfort of their own homes. Instructor McKenna Ogg uses nursery rhymes, books, music recordings, dance, movement, and body percussion to introduce basic musical foundations to our littlest participants. Children enjoy a variety of activities which focus on rhythm, motor skills and pitch while their parents begin to understand how their babies learn.

Presented by the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts’ Music Equals program, instructor PJ Anderson will take students on an exploration of identifying how different types of music makes them feel or what stories it helps them imagine. Using different arts media, they will create different art projects through painting, drawing, sculpting or crafting. This class touches on wellness topics like being able to identify emotions and use the arts as coping and self regulation tools in a fun and inclusive environment. Students ages 7-12 are welcome, enrollment is limited!
