SUMMARY:FREE Tune-In Music Program (at the West End Cultural Centre)
DESCRIPTION:The Tune-In Music Program has been an integral part of the West End Cultural Centre for almost as long as the WECC has been around. We offer FREE music instruction on the guitar\, bass\, drums\, voice\, and songwriting for youth ages 8-18. \nProfessional musicians provide two hours of instruction and mentorship once a week (Tuesdays from 4-6 pm) with new instruments provided through a grant from The Cardinal Foundation. This is a great opportunity for participants to try out a new instrument or focus on one that they’re interested in. \nFor more information\, please contact the West End Cultural Centre at 204-783-6918 or info@wecc.ca. \nThe Tune-In Music Program is presented in partnership with Music Equals through the Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts (MCMA).

From there\, you’ll go through Leatherdale Hall\, then take the elevator up to the second floor. There is a Handi-Transit stop across the street from Convocation Hall. DESCRIPTION:Join us for this fun family event for the holidays! Bring your little one to sing and play musical games with Santa\, Mrs. Claus and their elves. Your registration fee includes a photo with Santa and a holiday treat. \nPlease note that each child requires a ticket\, but parents/caregivers do not. \nAccessibility: Our ensemble room (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building\, you’ll find a gender neutral\, accessible washroom available to you. This is next to a push plate activated door leading to our ensemble room. There is a Handi-Transit stop across the street from Bryce Hall. An accessibility map can be viewed here. To request accommodations (including access to Bryce Hall from the top of the ramp)\, please email info@mcma.ca or call 204-988-7650 upon registration. \nTo register\, click on the plus sign on the ticket below to select the desired amount of tickets.
