Local violinist Clair Tang will use creative ways to introduce the violin to little hands! Tuition includes the cost of a monthly instrument rental. \nThese introductory classes are designed to be a stepping stone towards private music lessons. You will spend 14 weeks diving deep into Bossa Nova\, Cumbia\, Ska\, Choro\, Samba\, Afrobeat and Forro genres. If the class is full\, click on the purple “notify me” button to get notified if a spot becomes available. \nThis un-parented group will use a variety of instruments\, movement songs\, and familiar tunes to create a fun space for connecting and making music. It is a great class for kids who are ready to start learning simple musical skills such as pitch matching\, keeping a steady beat\, and changing tempos. It will also be an introduction to collaborating and engaging in a class environment and developing independence. \nAccessibility: Our ensemble room (where this group class is held) is accessible by a ramp outside Bryce Hall. Once you enter the building\, you’ll find a gender neutral\, accessible washroom available to you. This is next to a push plate activated door leading to our ensemble room.
