08 May COVID-19 Update
Even though our physical studios are closed to the public, we are continuing to deliver music lessons and classes. Individual music lessons and group music classes are available virtually through online platforms.
We are using various platforms including Zoom, Skype, What’s App, FaceTime & Google Duo to connect with students to support your music education journey.
Always wanted to play an instrument? Want to re-connect with an instrument you played growing up? Is it time to release your inner singing Diva? With all of us staying home as much as possible to stop the spread of the pandemic, this is a great time to study music!
If you are a current student who is not yet exploring virtual lessons, or a new student who wants to explore the joy and creativity of making music email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Before we make any decision to resume onsite services we want to make sure that we’re set up to keep you as safe and possible. We are currently working with the University of Winnipeg and are constantly monitoring the situation to determine when it is safe to re-open. Our staff members are working remotely and will be checking email and voicemail messages regularly. We will update you as soon as we can.
We are taking the recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Canada to stay home and to avoid contact with others very seriously. For more information on how to keep you and your loved ones healthy, please consult the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website.
We are finding comfort in our favourite music, and we hope you do too. Take care of one another and stay safe.
All the best,
The MCMA Board & Staff
NOTE: Music Equals outreach programming is suspended until further notice.
