In 2011, the Conservatory awarded more than $12,000 in scholarship to students and non-students.
Each spring, the Conservatory holds a series of scholarship auditions for current and potential students. Students are eligible to earn tuition scholarships applicable to the upcoming school year. Experienced judges in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds/brass, percussion, and guitar adjudicate the performances and scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit. Auditioning is considered an excellent performing experience and each applicant receives a written adjudication.
Jazz students are eligible to apply for the CanWest Global Jazz scholarships, for tuition credit in Jazz studies at the Manitoba Conservatory.
