Biography:

Since returning to Winnipeg in 1988, Wes has been active as a music teacher, performer and church musician. He received degrees in music at CMBC (now CMU) and at the University of Toronto, as well as the ARCT Performance Diploma. Currently the organist at St. Andrew’s River Heights United Church, Wes previously served for 17 years as Director of Music at Broadway-First Baptist Church in downtown Winnipeg. He has taught piano, organ and theory in various locations for over 30 years. He is a member of the College of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto. Performing experiences include numerous accompanying roles, organ recitals and involvement with several local choral groups.

Education/Training:

Degrees in music at CMBC (now CMU) and at the University of Toronto, as well as the ARCT Performance Diploma.
