We are excited to introduce our new Early Childhood Music Instructor, Kristen Malbranck, a former MCMA student.
In December of 2016 we said farewell to “Miss Margaret” Robertson, who taught early childhood courses at the MCMA for more than 10 years. While it was sad to see Miss Margaret go, we are pleased to welcome Kristen to the MCMA teaching team.
“I am very excited to be joining the MCMA as the new Early Childhood Music Instructor,” says Kristen, who will teach Bouncing Beethovens, Mini Mozarts and Music in Motion. “The MCMA is a special place to me, as I began my early music career as a student and staff member here, and I am happy to once again be a part of the team.”
When asked about her interest in early childhood music instruction, Kristen replied, “As a musician and educator, I am passionate about connecting children to the world of music, and promoting creative and musical confidence in young people. During this winter’s classes, we will share in the discovery and fun of music making through song, movement, imaginative play, as well as learning about a variety of musical instruments. I look forward to meeting everyone, and sharing the joy of music with you and your little ones!”
