In her work with musicians of various ages and levels, Renise strongly believes in the beautiful marriage of musical and personal excellence.  She is inspired by the ability of music to help her students to better understand themselves.  She states: “Music is a tool that helps us fall in love with and realize the dream of the person we want to become.”

Currently, Renise is the Music Director at the University of Winnipeg Collegiate, where she conducts the Collegiate instrumental and choral ensembles, as well as teaches the Young Artist Intensive – a course she developed that focuses on music arranging and recording processes.  She also teaches music electives and performance courses at the University of Winnipeg.  In this role as a music educator, Renise passionately inspires her students and works tirelessly to provide opportunities for them to be able to share a piece of themselves with others through music, as well as learn from and gain an appreciation for the gifts, talents, diversity and uniqueness of those around them.
