Are you interested in enrolling your child in music lessons, but unsure what instrument would be best for them? MUSIC EXPLORERS is the best first step to learning an instrument.

In this 8-week class, your child will explore different instruments through group and individual instruction. The fun group lessons in voice, Orff instruments, and percussion with Tessa Springate will create an interactive, game-based foundation in basic musical concepts such as rhythm, melody, and expression.

In addition, this winter they will dip their toes into individual classes in piano, guitar, and cello with our wonderful guest instructors: Alina Havrylyuk, Ryszard Tyborowski, and Edvanny Silva. These distinguished musicians will introduce your child to their instrument in a one-on-one, mini lesson.

At the end of the course, your child will be able to show you what they have learned through a sharing session! Tessa says that Music Explorers is “low stress, fast paced, and fun. Students are well placed to move into more formalized lessons!”

If you are interested in starting your child on the path toward a music-filled life, call the MCMA at 204-988-7650 or visit to register!
