Biography
Martin Wilson holds a DMA in vocal performance from Indiana University. His teaching resume includes Illinois Wesleyan University, Syracuse University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges (New York), Tanz Forum Wien (Vienna), and Danube Cultural Institute (Vienna). He also has experience in teaching children through Cobblestone Arts Center in Rochester, New York. He has performed as a soloist on the stage in many various forms including Opera, Oratorio, Music Theatre, Jazz, radio, and plays. The venues for these performances are widely scattered across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Dr. Wilson is currently teaching voice through the University of Manitoba Prep Division and the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts. In Winnipeg, his performance venues have included the Little Opera Company, Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Rainbow Stages, the University of Manitoba, and Manitoba Opera.
