Biography
Linda Fox has been a devoted piano instructor since 1998. Teaching piano lessons in the traditional style, Linda attempts to create a balanced and personal course of study for each student. Linda’s students consistently achieve above average grade in RCM exams and demonstrate confidence and poise in performance. She arranges regular recitals for her students and encourages them to perform in a variety of musical events.
Linda completed her ARCT diploma in Piano Performance, studying under John Melnyk, Sr. in Winnipeg. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Brandon University, where she studied piano with Dr. Lawrence Jones. Since graduation from university, Linda earned her ARCT in Piano Pedagogy. Performance scholarships were awarded to Linda throughout her musical studies. She has participated in several master classes and has performed in a variety of solo and accompanying roles. Linda joined the faculty at MCMA in 2001, and is a current member of MRMTA (Manitoba Registered Music Teacher’s Association).
