Biography
Kimberly Dyck is a 22 year old pianist from Steinbach, Manitoba. She has recently graduated with a degree in piano performance from the University of Manitoba under the instruction of Dr. Judy Kehler-Siebert. She performs not only as a soloist but also as a member of a piano trio under the direction of Dr. Minna Rose Chung (cello). In 2011 she has performed as a finalist in the Lawrence Genser competition at the U of M, won first place in the Manitoba provincial festival competition, and competed at the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers Association National Piano Competition. She has won numerous awards and scholarships at her local music festival, including the Dr. Karl Krueger trophy for Honors Piano from 2009-2011. Kimberly is excited to begin expanding her small piano studio. She hopes to inspire other young musicians and instill in them a passion for their art.
