Individual Music Instruction

Want to learn to play an instrument?  Continue your music education or learn another instrument?

Now is the perfect time to shake up your year while learning something new–no matter if your 7 or 70! All of our instructors are certified in their area of musical study to offer you the best learning tools for the perfect melody.

When there are many faculty to choose from (as we have at the Conservatory), it’s important to make the best match possible. This is because the student/teacher combination always has an impact on the student’s learning, achieving and enjoyment of their musical experience.

That’s why you can’t register on-line for instruction at the Conservatory. Our process includes a face-to-face meeting with Student Services; assessing the student needs and matching them with a Faculty member. It may even include a free consultation/trial lesson so we can make the best recommendation.

If you would like to take lessons with a specific faculty member, we would be more than happy to arrange it (depending on fit, scheduling and availability). We are offering lessons for piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, voice, clarinet, flute, saxophone, recorder,  percussion, trumpet, and much more.

For more information or to set up a free 10-15 minute consultation with one of our teachers please call us at 204.998.7650 or stop by our office at The University of Winnipeg, Bryce Hall, 515 Portage Avenue.

Let us help you along your musical journey!
