Biography

Diane began with private piano lessons and then studied the alto saxophone and voice, participating in choirs, bands and ensembles.  Diane has a background as an accompanist, organist/pianist and music director. She holds an AMM in performance and a Bachelor of Music in piano from the University of Manitoba.

In addition to teaching at the MCMA, Diane is on faculty at the University of Manitoba Preparatory Divison, has taught in rural areas and maintained a private studio.  She is a member of the MRMTA and CFMTA.  Diane has taught extensively with student accomplishments in several piano and composition competitions, scholarships; acceptance in enrichment programs and entrance to universities.
