Paul De Gurse is a Winnipeg based piano player. He has appeared in the Winnipeg jazz festival in 2011 with the Paul De Gurse quartet, and in 2012 and the Lucas Sader quintet. He has also appeared with international jazz drummer Quincy Davis’ band Promise, which was recorded on the cd Farewell 274, and with the University of Manitoba Lab Band. He also works as a theatre music director, having recently worked on My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding (Winnipeg Studio Theatre), and Avenue Q (District Theatre Collective). He has a Bachelor of Jazz Studies from the University of Manitoba.
